Another fantastic blow out fundraising event is Chef’s Best with Food and Friends. Food and Friends is a wonderful Washington DC organization that raises money to help those with HIV/AIDS, cancer, or other illnesses that make it difficult for those to nourish their bodies properly.  Doing Event Photography for Chefs Best was so much fun, while making a difference.

Once a year, the Best Chefs Dinner and Auction brings in some of the best chefs in the area. These talented folks donate their time and energy to create the most amazing food event of the year. And when I say amazing, I mean it! The food is not only beautifully created but absolutely delicious. 900 chef’s best attendees gave their time to this event in 2016 alone. Isn’t it amazing to see so many people come together to help those in need?!

Here’s a gallery that is a combination of last year’s fantastic event at the National Building Museum, and this year’s great location, The Marriott Marquis Washington DC. Chefs Best has helped Food and Friends raise over $860,000 to support their services in 2016. This equates to over 900,000 meals! I love the Washington DC community, and how they come together to help their fellow citizens. Being able to document events like Chef’s Best has been an amazing experience for me.  Spreading awareness and educating others is such a valuable tool in helping those around us!  I cannot imagine a better way of giving my time to these organizations, just as they do.
